AZBUKA STRIKES BACK: Harri Kraievets, “Perhaps your neighbor is Omar Khayyam! The art of asking questions”, 9 July 2022, 4:30 PM

Harri Kraievets will invite Ukrainian and English speaking children and teenagers to participate in a workshop dedicated to mastering the art of rhetoric.

During this workshop participants will learn to read the story in-depth, and look for meaning by asking questions. With the help of Nasreddin's texts, one can practice the art of questioning. Hodge’s stories convey wisdom through simple words and life narratives that everyone can understand, especially children. It is an exciting journey for the search of meaning and interest in the world around us.

The workshop lasts for one hour and is intended for a group of 8–10 teenagers (from 10–16 years old) and will be held in Ukrainian and English. At the end of the seminar, the youth will learn to ask relevant questions in order to understand the material.

Harri Kraievets is an artist, performer, and curator, born in Odesa, Ukraine. His works evolve around the creation of new forms that transform psychoanalytic thought by changing its optics, mode of interaction, and linguistic apparatus whilst deconstructing such concepts as identity, nationality, religion, and memory.
